In case you haven't heard, a suspected gunman was supposedly seen
walking through Catawba Valley Community Colleges East Campus yesterday

Okay folks first let me relay my own personal experience pertaining to this event because I was there for the entire time. Around 9:25 am during my 9:00 am Spanish 2 class(located in the West Wing of the Main Campus) announcements were made proclaiming, "Code Red, This is not a drill." As sirens blared, confused students and faculty scurried outside there class rooms trying to make there way outside the building. Some faculty, privy to the fact that "Code Red" meant lock-down and not evacuation now herded us students back into our class rooms. Sirens continued to wail and dumb struck students piled back inside. Lights off and doors barricaded, we huddled in disbelief in the most obscure corner of the room. We set in quiet darkness until we were finally evacuated at around 1:15 pm.
OKAY SO HERE'S THE PROBLEM :

The east campus was placed on lockdown at 9:35 a.m., followed by the main campus at 10:12 a.m, and that the Main Campus remained on lock-down until after 3:00 pm. This is obviously a discrepancy form my personal experience described above. Also, the lock-down occurred seemingly only minutes after the supposed teacher saw the "suspect," which according to the official timeline occurred at 9:20 am. As I already stated, the Main Campus was locked-down around 9:25 am, not the official 10:12 am. This coupled with the fact that I personally observed a more heavily than usual police presence immediately after lock-down occurred makes me think there was beforehand knowledge of this event. Also, the supposed "teacher" that spotted the "armed suspect" has not been identified, AND despite the fact that all the manpower of the Hickory police’s Special Operations Team, the Catawba County STAR team and deputies with the sheriff’s office which according to the official report included over 50 members of law enforcement NEVER turned up a suspect after scouring dozens of acres WITH THE HELP OF HELICOPTERS makes it quite obvious to toughs of us that follow these types of things that this was a completely staged event.
So, now the only obvious question becomes WHY? Why indeed? It wouldn't surprise me a bit if we begin to see new legislation in Catawba County and perhaps North Carolina demanding for increased police presence and gun control enacted in the wake of this event. In fact if there is not, it would be an exception to the rule. The power elite, whether or not they staged the event to begin with will undoubtedly use it as a means to further strip us of our constitutional rights and civil liberties, which they most always do when things like this occur. School President Hinshaw himself has already stated only a day afterward, “We realized we weren’t where we needed to be. We rewrote some of our training policies, added cameras, alarm systems, big screen TVs for emergency notifications and locks." These additions now with an increased police presence has all but turned the campus into a minimum security prison camp where everyone is a suspect, privacy is invalid, and fear and suspicion rules the day.
Another possibility is that of-coarse this was an authentic event uninspired and without manipulation from higher-ups, but I think when you logically look at the facts, and remember I WAS RIGHT THERE IN THE MIDDLE OF IT, one must conclude that things just don't add up. Perhaps there is another explanation. Obviously events like this one are used to serve the gun-control lobby but according to my intelligence contacts this was most-likely a Psy-Op(psychological operation) meant to test and analyze civilian and law enforcement response to local crisis in an institutional setting. For what reason? Well there are many and one cannot be sure, but CVCC President Hinshaw himself said in a statement yesterday to The Hickory Daily Record that he, "credits training the staff underwent from Texas A&M about five years ago to getting the school ready for Wednesday’s event." TO GETTING THE SCHOOL READY FOR WEDNESDAY'S EVENT??? Pretty weird phrasing don't you think?
Most students, rattled and afraid can't help but be reminded of tragedies like Virgina Tech and Columbine. And it only takes a little digging into these atrocities to realize that the official version of things that we are told is SIMPLY BULLSHIT!
